Favourite TV show and why?
Seinfeld. Jerry Seinfeld is the funniest man alive. Or Last Week Tonight w/ John Oliver.

Favourite Movie and why?
Tough one, favourite one would be Ocean's Eleven or Catch Me If You Can

Funniest moment on the cricket field?
Anything involving Mickey Edwards, that guy knows how to make cricket fun.

Funniest moment off the cricket field?
There's been a lot. Spent a week in IOS last year that was both loose & pretty funny the whole time.

You have had a few issues with your elbow during the pre-season and the start of the season proper. How has it been coming along?
Pretty rubbish to be honest. Currently out of bowling until January at least, with a view to return to full bowling in Feb, but we'll see how it goes!

The first grade side again looks one of the strongest around on paper. Where do you think the season will be won and lost this year?
In the back half of games, I think we're a really strong side when we're on top, but it all comes down to how we perform when teams put us under the pump. Having someone bowl that spell, take that catch or come out & counter attack in a collapse is probably what we missed last year. Bit of mongrel

You had a great season 2 years ago, topping the wicket tally for the entire 1st grade competition, and had another solid year last year. What are your goals for this season?
To be honest I probably got caught in the lights a bit last year, watched the wicket tallies & what other people were doing too much last year, without focusing on simple things like building pressure, maidens, swinging & seaming the ball & enjoying it. Plan is/was to just go back to make it really simple, be in a good headspace & enjoy it, which is where I think I'm at.

Who is the best cricketer that you have played with?
Joel Mason, hands down. If you disagree with me, you didn't see his hundred in 3rd grade in 2011. That kids going places.

How would you go about impressing the girls of your dreams?
Early bird special at the Boatshed. Works a treat.

Who at Manly would you most like to share a car trip to Campbelltown with?
Beatty, Edwards, McLachlan is a pretty good car line up to Campbelltown. You've got good varying levels of intensity there & enough in common to steer that chat away from cricket, even if I try & keep talking about it.

Who at Manly would you least like to share a car trip to Campbelltown with?
Matt Alexander. When he's not complaining about work he's trying to steal your bat. Plus he really, really hates cyclists & drives about 160 kph while Snapchatting.

What do you think the club needs to improve on for the 2016/17 season?
Being prepared to do the hardwork in training, stay focused on the grind, not take anyone lightly & pull out the big innings/spell when it calls for it.

What is your most embarrassing moment on the field?
I've got a duck on reps, green shield, pgs, 5th grade, 4th grade, 3rd grade & 2nd grade debuts. That's embarrassing.

Who is your tip for the D.G. Medal this season for their work on the circuit?
Taylor Beatty had the yellow jersey very early if his behaviour in Queenbeyan was anything to go by, plus Jamo also has been a great addition. Both are being sidelined though. Find it hard to go past Sam Gainsford. Great aggression.

Who's Manly Cricket shoes, either past or present, would you like to be in for a day?
Javed Badyari

Who were the best cricketers coming through the age groups with you?
Adam Gummer was the state age captain, he was the king of kings. Matty Mee was also pretty good, as were Logan Weston & Danny Smith (now @ Gordon). We had what has turned out to be a pretty good side!
