5 Waratahs earn NSW Men’s Contracts for 2024/25

Five Mounties Manly Warringah Waratahs have earnt themselves a NSW Blues Contract for the 2024/25 season.

Jackson Bird, Jack Edwards, Ryan Hadley and Ollie Davies were all given full contracts, whilst Joel Davies was once again given a rookie contract for the upcoming season.

All five were also on NSW contracts last season.

It is great to see so many Manly players in the NSW set-up once again.

There is no doubt that Ollie Davies is one of the hottest red-ball batters in the country right now and has emerged as a real contender for higher honours. He is joined in the squad by his brother Joel who continues to shine in all forms of cricket, making his BBL debut last season.

Edwards has cemented himself in the NSW set-up as a vital all-rounder, excelling with both bat and ball in 2023/24, while Hadley continues his push towards more Shield cricket with a strong 2023/24 season end after an injury enforced start.

Then we also have Jackson Bird, the elder statesman of both our group and the NSW squad who continues to provide outstanding guidance and on field performances.

Congratulations to all 5 Men awarded contract, and we wish them luck for the 2024/25 season for the Blues and for Manly.
