About Junior Reps

Playing Junior Representative cricket for Manly Warringah is the highest cricket honour you can receive within the Manly Warringah area as a junior cricketer.

With teams from U/11s through to U/16s in boys, and U/13s and U/15s in girls, the Junior Representative arm of the Manly Warringah Junior Cricket Association administers these competitions.

While the Junior Reps are not formally part of the Manly Warringah Grade club, we work closely with the Junior Reps as part of our pathway program from U/11s all the way through to Women’s and Men’s 1st Grade.

The Junior Reps play again all other districts from not only around Sydney, but as far away as Newcastle and Illawarra.

Junior Representative Cricket for Manly Warringah is the stepping stone to higher honours. Performance here is the main selection criteria that we use to select the Green and Brewer Shield squads, which are administered under the Manly Warringah grade club.

From Junior Reps, the stepping stone is into Premier Cricket for the Waratahs for the boys/men’s.

Our Junior Representative teams are chosen from players from the 11 local clubs. These are:

  1. Beacon Hill
  2. Collaroy Plateau
  3. Cromer
  4. Forest
  5. Harbord
  6. Peninsula
  7. SKEGGS
  8. Seaforth
  9. St Augustines
  10. St Pius
  11. Wakehurst

Representing Manly Warringah is a huge honour and many great Manly players (current and former) have done so. The players coming through the Manly Warringah Junior Representative system are the future of our club, and we wish them all the best for the coming 2026/27 season.
