Many of the young people we support have experienced significant challenges, including abuse, neglect, family breakdown, trauma, homelessness, mental health issues, and disrupted education. Without the right support, these experiences can have lifelong impacts.

That is why stable accommodation, trusted relationships, and tailored support are so important.

For nearly 40 years, Burdekin has worked alongside children, young people and families, providing care, housing and support services that help young people feel safe, develop confidence and work towards independence. Our programs are designed to meet young people where they are, offering practical assistance and opportunities that empower them to thrive.

At Burdekin, we believe every young person deserves the chance to feel safe, valued and supported. We work alongside young people to help them navigate challenges, build confidence and create positive pathways for their future.
