The previously announced Indoor facility at Cromer, to be owned and operated by the Manly Warringah Waratahs and used by the entire Northern Beaches cricket community, is now gaining pace as we go through the build process.
The whole project is coming along very nicely. We are looking at an opening at some stage before the 2025/26 season.
The facility is a game changer for the sport on the Northern Beaches and will be a valuable community asset for generations to come. It has been almost 30 years since the Peninsula has had an indoor training centre and will do wonders for both junior and senior cricket in the area.
While we are full steam ahead, a project like this is an expensive exercise, especially to make sure it is state of the art. As such, our 2024/25 golf day at Long Reef Golf Club is doubling as our main fundraiser for the Indoor Centre.
As such we are looking to fill all 18 holes with hole sponsors or the day. We have already filled 9 holes and we have no doubt that all 18 will eventually be filled.

The golf day is on Friday 6th December at Long Reef Golf Course. Each hole costs $600 +GST, or $1,200 +GST if you include a group of 4 players.
