
Manly Warringah Waratahs Happy Days has provided an update on its key initiatives for 2025, through its “Postcards from Cambodia” newsletter.
Founded by club legend Mike Pawley, the vision of Happy Days to enable the children in a rural village in Siem Reap, Cambodia an opportunity to break the poverty cycle by improving their living conditions and teaching them to make informed decisions about their future through the power of education.
Happy Days will be hosting its annual golf day on Friday 17 October at Long Reef Golf Club.
The day promises to be us a fantastic day of golf, community, and giving back as Happy Days looks to raise funds for its High School & University Scholarship Program in Cambodia. This tradition has been running for 6 years, and has made a real difference in the lives of rural village kids.
Happy Days has also put a call out for volunteers to help them at its new Education Centre, which is home t more than240 students (ages 6-18), all eager to learn and grow.
As a volunteer, you’ll have the chance to connect with some of the most joyful, resilient, and hardworking students you’ll ever meet. Your support can make a lasting impact on their education and future opportunities.
Mike and his wife Suzanne will be in Cambodia in late June and early July. Whether you can join them for a week, a month, or longer, they would love to hear from you!
