Cricket NSW has today annoucned that the Styleness Manly Warringah Waratahs 1st Grade Quarter Final at Manly Oval on Sunday 7th February will be streamed live on Kayo, the Foxtel streaming service.
The match pits 3rd placed Manly against 6th place Fairfield-Liverpool in the elimination match.
While there is plenty of streaming happening in Premier Cricket via Frogbox, we believe this is the first occasion that Premier Cricket has been shown by one of the major media platforms in the country.
While there have been a few phone calls made by some of our hierarchy, full credit must go to Cricket NSW for being able to orchestrate this and get Premier Cricket into the mainstream media. We have no doubt that all clubs across Australia will be very excited by this development and what it could mean in the future.
Sunday’s match begins at 10am and will include stars such as Ollie Davies, Jay Lenton, Ryan Hadley for the Waratahs, and Param Uppal, Chad Sammut, and the ageless Jarrod Burke for the Lions.
It promises to be a top class fixture that befits such an occasion.
As usual there will be a full assortment of refreshments available on the day, including the bar, so come on down and enjoy the day at one of the great local venues in the state.
