We are hopefuly that Robeco’s parternship with Mickey will help his recovery. The partnership has come through Brett Penprase who is well known to the club, having previously been assistant coach for 2 years. “BP” as he is effectionatly known had a long playing career at Northern Districts and stil follows both clubs very closely. It’s great to have former grade cricketers and coaches still involved and interested in grade cricket.

“I have a real soft spot for Manly having been involved with the club for a couple of years” said Brett.
“There are some great people involved and it seems to be run so well.
“But I was mainly drawn by supporting Mickey. He was coming through the lower grades when I was coaching at the club so I had a fair bit to do with him. It’s been great to see his progression over the last 2 or 3 seasons into a top class bowler.
“I am very hopeful that he will come back bigger and better from his injury”.
