3rd Annual NBCF Fundraiser a Great Success

The Mounties Manly Warringah Waratahs would like to thank everyone who came down to our National Breast Cancer Foundation Fundraiser on Sunday 8 December, and for making the day such a massive success.

The club turned pink for a heartwarming day of cricket, community, and conversation — all in support of breast cancer awareness, raising more than $3200 on the day.

The event was part of our Womens T20 triple header, where the players put on a masterclass, securing three impressive wins and giving the crowd plenty to cheer about.

Off the field, a buzzing BBQ and cake stall — stocked with treats from our Womens playing group — kept everyone well fed.

Upstairs at the RATT, a special panel featuring Dr. Karen Shaw (breast cancer surgeon), Stella Savill (breast cancer survivor), and Cathy Jones (mammographer and survivor) shared stories of resilience and vital advice on breast cancer awareness.

Their mix of personal reflections and practical guidance left a lasting impact on all who attended.

A huge thank you to our volunteers and everyone who bought a sausage, a cake, or a ticket.

Your support made this incredible day possible — and together, we made a difference.
