The Mounties Manly Warringah Waratahs are pleased to announce our Green Shield Squad for the 2025/26 season.
Green Shield remains one of the strongest junior cricket competitions in Australia, showcasing the next generation of talent in the U/16s Men’s competition, with all 20 NSW Premier Cricket clubs represented.
Once again, the side will be led by head coach Kevin Davies, supported by assistant coach Chris Melville and manager Richard Matheson — forming an experienced and dedicated leadership group that continues to drive excellence in our junior program.
As is tradition, the squad features a strong core of local junior talent, a hallmark of Manly’s Green Shield teams over the years. Returning for their second campaign are Darcy Horstead, Josh Godwin, William Graham, Rohit Jayaram, Harvey Matheson, Murray Moran and Angus Pike, providing valuable continuity and experience.
Joining them are two outstanding regional players — Leo Thornton (Newcastle) and Blake Collings (Lismore) — who bring exciting ability and depth to the squad.
Rounding out the 15-player lineup are several first-time Green Shield representatives: Mitch McCombe, Lewis Cruikshank, Nate Cole, Beau Moran and Archie Wragge. Each has impressed through consistent performances in Junior Reps and Shires cricket, earning their place in what promises to be a highly competitive group.
