Manly Cricket is pleased to announce that Simon Couch Sports Chiro is sponsoring first-grade player Joel Davies for the 2025/26 season.
Simon Couch has a long history with the club. As a player for the Waratahs, he scored more than 3,500 runs and took almost 150 wickets across 12 years in the men’s competition with Manly Warringah. After finishing his playing career, Simon has continued his involvement with the club as our dedicated chiropractor, working with the Men’s playing group on injury management and prevention for many seasons.
Joel Davies has continued his rise through professional ranks, now playing for the Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League. As a left-arm orthodox spinner and useful lower-order bat, he has featured prominently in recent BBL campaigns, producing notable performances with both bat and ball for the Sixers.
However, this season Joel has stood out with key contributions in pressure situations, including a match-saving innings and a holding one of the best runs per over rate across the competition. His consistent performances have helped him solidify his spot in the Sydney Sixer’s lineup.
Simon’s chiropractic practice in Manly Vale continues to offer services to athletes and community members alike, providing hands-on care for sporting injuries and rehabilitation.
