Butcher’s Cafe Cooking Success with Lenton in 2017/18

The Waratahs are proud to have The Butcher’s Cafe sponsor NSW, Sydney Thunder and 1st grade wicket-keeper batsman Jay Lenton this season.

Click Here to view Jay’s player profile.

Jay has once again shown why he is a genuine first-class cricketer this season, scoring runs when he has received the chance for the Waratahs, NSW 2nd XI and Sydney Thunder. Having been known in recent years for his ability to clear the fence in the shorter formats of the game, Jay has shown on multiple occasions this year that he has the technique and temperament to bat for long periods of time and score big runs. With 1st grade pushing towards the finals, Jay’s presence is a huge boost and we have no doubt that the best is yet to come from him!

Sponsoring Jay Lenton this season are the Butcher’s Cafe, the number one cafe in Manly! Located just up the road from Manly Oval at Fairlight shops, The Butchers Cafe is an extension of the butcher next door and how it makes it’s name.

Although the owner, Andrew Dawes, has since shrunk his empire to just the cafe, it is still the best brew in the Manly area and always has customers lined up out the door looking to get a taste of their great coffee.

The Butcher’s Cafe also do delicious food, with their Bacon and Egg Roll a favourite for many of the Waratahs before a big game on a Saturday. The Wagyu Beef burger is also particularly good, and has been making quite the name for itself over the last few years.

The cafe is open for breakfast or lunch, so be sure to head up to 153 Sydney Rd, Fairlight and mention that Manly Cricket sent you.

Also don’t forget their amazing Manly Mates Rates 10% discount on all food for all Club Card holders!

We would like to thanks Dawsey and his team for their amazing support over the last few years, and look forward to continuing this fantastic relationship in the years to come!
