The Mounties Manly Warringah Waratahs are proud to announce the signing of Charlie Stobo for the 2025/26 season.
A right-arm medium-fast bowler, Charlie brings a wealth of experience and a winning mindset to the club.
After making his first-class debut for New South Wales in 2016/17, he moved to Western Australia, where he became a key contributor to multiple title-winning campaigns. In Sheffield Shield cricket, he has taken 55 wickets at an average of 24.98, with best figures of 4/46.
Now, Charlie returns home to New South Wales — and joins the Tahs at Manly Oval.
“I’m really excited to start my time at Manly,” Charlie said. “Aside from a beautiful home ground, Manly seems like a welcoming club invested in improving players across all grades.”
Charlie’s arrival is a major boost to our top squad. His experience at the elite level, combined with a strong team-first mentality, makes him a natural fit for the culture we’re building.
“Sharing the field with a mix of experienced veterans and exciting young talent is going to be a lot of fun,” he added. “I’m pumped to help out where I can and contribute to some on-field success and growth.”
Charlie’s impact will extend well beyond the stat sheet — offering leadership, insight, and inspiration across the club.
