Crucial Round Looming for the Tahs – Rd.7 Teams vs UNSW

The TravelSim Waratahs will look to bounce back from a mixed round against Northern Districts with a trip to the University of NSW this weekend. The return of some key personal has seen strong sides named throughout the grades for this big clash.

1st grade will be looking to win there fourth game in a row with a similar outfit that defeated Northern Districts. Englishman Nathan Buck has been called up from 2nd grade while the absence of Ahillen Beadle on Thunder duties gives young batsman Jarrod Rawlings another crack in the top grade. 2’s have a new look bowling attack and captain with the absence of Rowan Hamman who is out with injury. The return of Matt Alexander, Dylan Marshall and Taylor Beatty, along with Matt White slotting in from 1st grade, gives this new look side a point of difference with the ball who will be keen to pick up points this weekend at Manly Oval.

3rd grade willl also look to bounce back to form as they welcome Aidan Bariol back from Australian U/16’s duties, while Ben Falconer comes down to strengthen Warren Evan’s attack. 4’s have a number of changes, with Ben Kittlety, Sam Alexander and Luke Edgell all returning to the side. Sam Hole and James Boyer also slot in to Max Burgess’s XI, who should be the favourites with a strong team at Grahams Reserve. Finally, 5th grade will look to keep there fantastic form going despite the absence of captain Simon Waddington. The experienced Tom Sheedy will lead this young side in his place and we know these talented boys will continue there momentum.
