The Styleness Manly Warringah Waratahs have named sides for Men’s grades 1-5, Women’s 2’s, 3’s, and Brewers. The men’s sides shape up against Blacktown this week, in what will be an important round towards the club championship. Women’s 2’s play Penrith away, Brewers host Parramatta, and W3’s are home against Universities.
Last week saw 3 out of 5 men’s grades take the points, while all women’s teams escaped with a win. Jay Lenton’s ton was a highlight, despite first grade going down. Michael Visser lead from the front in 4’s, with a 5fa and 50 to his name. Roop Dhillon bowled the house down in 5’s to help dismantle North’s cheaply, taking his 3rd 5fa for the club.
1st grade welcome back Sam Gainsford, who returns to the side for the first time since last season, and 2’s acquire the skill and experience of Ahillen Beadle this round. 3rd grade keep an unchanged side after their bonus point win last round.
4’s welcome the likes of Evan Dunnachie, Jake Osborne, Mickey Edwards, and Roop Dhillon, after Roop’s impressive 5fa last week in 5’s. 5th grade welcome the inclusions of Daimon Smith, Simon and James Waddington, and Josh Cooper.
Women’s 2nd grade remain unbeaten, and their side remains relatively unchanged, with the exception of Sarah Gordon being named in this rounds XI. Brewers hope to continue their current winning streak, and will look to do so with the same side as last round. Women’s 3rd grade also keep a very similar side going into the second round of their limited overs competition.
