Congratulations to form players Taylor Beatty and Ryan Farrell who are rewarded with promotions into 1st and 2nd Grade respectively after some fine form in the opening two rounds of competition. Both are exciting players of the future and thoroughly deserve their opportunities. Ryan in particular is beginning to show signs of learning to capitalise on his starts and we know he has a hundred in him not too far away! Also in 4th Grade we see young Jack Pickering and Joe Graham promoted from 5’s after very encouraging early season form. Player injury and unavailablility continue to offer opportunities for players and also test our depth. So far as a Club we have met the challenge and continue to forge ahead with season 2014/15.
It’s also a big week for the Club with the selection of Steve O’Keefe to make his Test debut against Pakistan in UAE. All the best SOK!
