Sam has had a strong 2015/16 season, gaining valuable experience and showing why he is one of our best young batsmen to come through in a while. Managing Director Clayton Ockerby says it was a fantastic opportunity to be involved with the Waratahs. “We actually got cold called a few seasons back. I have always had an interest in cricket so I took a quick look at the proposal. The more I looked, the more we wanted to help out.
“We have been involved with the club ever since, mainly through Pivot Creative but we have only just started the Changing Walls concept so it’s a great opportunity to help promote our new brand.
“The Waratahs are a community club looking to achieve big things, and we wanted to be a part of that.
“I have also met Sam on a few occasions, and if all the players at the club are like him, it is in great shape.”
