Ian Bird Photography supports Ollie Davies for 2024/25 season.
Having come through the ranks at Manly, Ollie has become one of the hottest young bats in the country after a breakout Sheffield Shield season. Recently being selected to play for Australia A against India.
This follows on from his star performances last year in the BBL.
But we definitely haven’t see the last of Ollie at Manly Oval, with plenty of runs in store over the coming years.
Supporting him in 2024/25 is Ian Bird Photography. Ian Bird is not only a huge part of our club, but is one of the most skilled photographers in Australia.
Having grown up with his Dad working in the Film Industry, ‘Birdy’ always had a fascination with cameras from a very young age, and at the age of 19 he was offered a full-time job assisting one of Australia’s most respected photographers.
At that point in time Ian had no experience in the photography world and took this opportunity with both hands. In the next five years he gained a wealth of experience and knowledge about not only the art of taking photos, but how to run a successful business.
In March 2009, Ian decided to create his own business and moved into the freelance world. Since then, he has become an accomplished photographer having worked with clients such as Cunard, Cricket Australia, Sydney Airport, Destination NSW, Sydney Opera House, Bridgeclimb, as well as supplying images to one of the worlds leading photographic press agencies on a regular basis, Rex Features UK.
We are very lucky to have his talent and support as part of our club for a number of years now. The amount of hours that he spends behind the camera and computer to make sure the best photo’s are always used is a true testament to his passion for the club and skill in his profession.
Ian Bird Photography is your perfect destination for any photographic needs, whether they be for commercial, sporting, artistic or personal use.
We want to thank Ian Bird for his ongoing support of the Waratahs and can’t wait to see some of the action he captures during the upcoming season!
