Manly for Movember proves big success

The TravelSIM Manly Warringah Waratahs have been able to raise over $4,000 in the 2016 Manly for Movember campaign.

This year 18 players and officials took place in the event, but far our biggest participation numbers ever.

Once again there were some great results.

Adam Gummer showed how to grow a great rusty little number, on either side of his nose, with basically nothing in-between. Jordan Daly’s moe was even more red than Gumms, which is saying something, while Joel Mason had the best “Strawberry blonde” moe of them all.

Dylan Marshall put in a great effort but along with Ash Virdi still does not know the difference between a moustache and a goatee, and so technically failed the event. But they did it with style, Ash especially looking very sleek.

Jimmy Crombie and Josh Wigney tried their best to grow some chuff on the upper lip but proved they are still a fair way away from proper manhood.

Sam Hole did his Movember all the way from Canada, showing his Waratah budgy smugglers as often as he could, something which is no doubt a common occurrence from young Sammy over the last few months away from the camera.

We also had Zach Trewartha, Dan McKenna, Logan Weston (the slimiest moe of them all), Sam Gainsford, Michael Visser, Nick McLachlan, Brad Wilson, Alan Wright, Billy D’Arcy and Tom Kaye take part in Movember.

In all we raised $4,138. It is a great effort and one that all the boys should be proud of. Nick McLachlan raised the most money with $696, once again a great effort.

Our Manly for Movember campaign is part of our NeuroPower Group Manly for Manly Community Program. Click here to read more on the program.

We look forward to getting involved with Movember once again in 2017.
