Manly host Parramatta in 2023/24 Green Shield Grand Final – Sunday 28th January

The Mounties Manly Warringah Waratahs have made it through to the 2023/24 Green Shield Grand Final, hosting perennial challengers Parramatta at Manly Oval this Sunday 28th January.

The Waratahs made our way to the decider by defeating Gordon in a pulsating Semi Final today by 6 wickets and 5.3 over to spare, thanks to a superb 95* from Myles Kapoor.

Parramatta defeated Northern Districts in the other Semi-Final by 3 wickets with 2.2 overs spare in another great match.

The hardly fought contests will put both sides in good stead to challenge hard for the title.

The team, lead superbly by coach Kevin Davies and captains Lukas Overhoff, have had a fantastic campaign in 2023/24. But they won’t be comfortable with that as we look to take out our first Premiership since 1991/92.

We took on Parramatta in the Round 6 clash at Manly Oval, defeating them by 4 wickets, chasing down 131. However, Grand Finals are their own beast, and that result will mean nothing as the 2 sides face off once again.

We invite the entire Manly Warringah cricket community to come down and cheer our juniors stars at Manly Oval. Match begins at 10am.
