Manly Warringah Juniors Selected in NSW Boys Academy Squads

The Cricket NSW Metropolitan Boys’ Academy Squads for all age groups from Under 13s to Under 16s for season 2018-19 was announced on Thursday.

Players went through the trial process throughout March, as well as State Challenges in Dubbo, DCA and Green Shield competition performances earlier in the season.

Each squad will train throughout the winter months, starting in July with a camp at the SCG, followed by individual training sessions during August-November.

In great news for Manly Warringah, we have 9 players successfully chosen across the four age groups.

Special mention to Joel Davies who despite only being U/15 in 2018/19 was actually selected in the U/16 squad, along with fellow Green Shield player Josh Seward.

What makes this even more impressive is that the U/16s is the only age-group where only one squad has been chosen. All other age-groups have been split into Thunder and Sixes squads.
