Men’s Captains confirmed for 2025/26

The Mounties Manly Warringah Waratahs are pleased to announce our Men’s Premier Cricket Captains for 2025/26.

As announced earlier, Joel Foster will be taking over from Jay Lenton as First Grade Captain.

A mainstay of the First Grade side, Foster has already begun building on the strong culture established under Lenton’s leadership, with his sights firmly set on bringing home a premiership. For further details on Joel’s appointment, click here.

Zach Trewartha will lead Second Grade this season after a distinguished career with the Waratahs.

A premiership winner and key member of the side in recent years, Zach will be determined to go one better after last season’s heartbreaking grand final defeat. He takes over from Jordan Daly, who will be stepping away for the start of the season to celebrate his wedding.

Sam Webber will once again captain Third Grade in 2025/26, after stepping into the role last season.

A club stalwart, Webber led from the front after taking over from Sam Hole, guiding 3s to the finals series. He’ll be looking to build on that effort and chase a long-awaited premiership this year.

Following a fourth straight premiership last season, Adam Parkinson will continue to lead Fourth Grade.

Last year’s Keith Marks Clubman of the Year, Parkinson has been an outstanding leader for 4s and will be pushing to achieve an incredible fifth consecutive title.

Simon Waddington, a former NSW 2nd XI representative, will once again captain Fifth Grade.

Waddington’s wealth of experience and steady leadership has been invaluable to 5s for many years, and he’ll again be guiding the club’s youngest Men’s grade side as they push for silverware.

After last season’s premiership triumph, local junior Andrew Boulton will return as captain of the U/21s Poidevin-Gray side.

Boulton is eager to defend the title, leading a squad that features many of last year’s premiership-winning players, with the goal of lifting the trophy once again.

Our U16s AW Green Shield Captain will be named at a later date.

Congratulations to all of our 2025/26 captains on their appointments. We wish them and their sides the very best for the season ahead.
