Michael Visser is one of those players that we love. Starting in our old 6th grade side in 2005/06, Michael came through the grades in a slow and patient manner, not really becoming a first grade regular until the last 3-4 years.
Michael is not an express bowler but instead relies on accuracy, movement and a little bit of bowling intelligence to get his wickets. His strike rate with the new ball is quite amazing, always striking early and often at the oppositions best batsmen.
This season will be big for Michael, as the 1st grade side looks to him to lead our attack across all formats, as well as taking on the Club Captaincy role.
