Support Isaiah Vumbaca on his ‘Hike Towards Education’

Known for his flashy and dynamic batting, along with his interchangeable off and leg breaks, Isaiah Vumbaca is preparing himself for a new challenge. Issy will be raising money for Happy Days Charity, as he ‘Hikes Towards Education.’

Issy, alongside friends Oscar Saunders and Rhys Vorillas, will be setting out on the difficult 6 Foot Track in the Blue Mountains, in support of Manly Cricket Legend and Life Member Mike Pawley’s, Happy Days Charity.

Happy Days aims at assisting girls in Cambodia receive an education, and to work towards making a better life for themselves.

Issy, after many visits to Cambodia and the Trach Commune Village, has decided to raise some much-needed funds for the Charity, and assist in achieving the educational dreams of the girls.

“We wanted to embrace the hardship that these girls go through every day, hence why we took on this challenge,’ said Issy.

The Three Day, 44-kilometre journey contains many steep up and down sections, and will prove highly challenging for the boys, yet Issy says it will all be worth it.

“We know that it’s going to be tough, but by doing this, hopefully we can raise as much money for these amazing girls as possible and help change their lives for the better.”

Manly Cricket is right behind Issy and his mates, and we wish them the best of luck in their hike and congratulate them for challenging themselves for this amazing cause.

Well Done Issy.
