The Mounties Group Manly Warringah Waratahs have taken out the Media and Community categories at the 2023/24 CNSW awards.
Our famous Manly for Manly Community program, run by our community Manager Phill Edwards, has come away with the Community Cricket Partnership of the Year award.
It’s a great reward for a long running program that Phill has driven over the last couple of years.
The program aims to connect our club with not only the local cricket community, but the local community at large. It involves junior coaching, community partnerships, and fundraising for selected charity partners.
It’s success has been instrumental in helping the local Northern Beach community and building good people off the field.

At the same time, our Media team have taken out the award for best Media Initiative for the podcast work as well as the video highlights provided on all of our social platform each week.
It’s the second time the team has won the Media aware, the previous being in 2020/21 when we went on to finish 2nd in the Cricket Australia awards.
Both awards have been put forward by CNSW for the Cricket Australia awards, to be announced in May.
