Volunteer Of The Month Awards

Each year the Manly Warringah Waratahs work with the Manly Warringah Junior Cricket Association to reward those hard-working volunteers who provide so much of their free time to junior cricket on the Northern Beaches.

The MWJCA nominates a number of worthy recipients from the Junior Club or Junior Association to receive the Volunteer Of The Month award throughout the season. All our players spent their formative cricket years as part of a junior club, so where possible we like to present the award at a training session in front of all the players.

Each winner receives a commemorative certificate and a generous voucher from our fantastic partners at Harbord Diggers.

Without these tireless volunteers our young boys and girls wouldn’t be able to participate in our wonderful sport of cricket so we are all very grateful and thankful for all the effort they put in.

On top of this, we try and recognise our own volunteers within our club who are also eligible for the monthly award.
