Warringah romp into 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade Grand Finals

Warringah Cricket Club are looking to end another strong season with a tilt at more Premierships this weekend.

Our brothers over in Curl Curl have qualified for the 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade Grand Finals to be played this coming weekend.

Their Metro Cup side, essentially their 6th Grade side, are also playing in the Semi-Finals this coming weekend.

It continues a momentous year in which they came 2nd in the Club Championship after leading going into the final round and making the 1st Grade finals.

More premierships would top of the season perfectly.

The Men in Green are perennial Premiership winners, especially in the lower grades, and we are sure that winning culture will come out this coming weekend.

The teams include almost all our Green Shield Premiership winning team, including skipper Lukas Overhoff. Our Green Shield coach Kevin Davies is the captain of the Warringah 4th Grade side.

It is a great testament to our pathway program run by the 2 clubs, but more than anything a testament to the Warringah club themselves.

Games across Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th March as follows:

  • 3rd Grade vs Burwood @ Weldon Oval
  • 4th Grade vs Epping @ Frank Gray Oval
  • 5th Grade vs Pennant Hills @ Alan Davidson Oval
  • Metro Cup (Semi Final) vs Sutherland @ Glenn McGrath Oval

Best of luck to the entire team for this coming weekend. More premierships on their way for the MIG.
