The Styleness Manly Warringah Waratahs have named sides for Men’s grades 1-3, and Women’s 2nd grade. This week marks the start of final’s across all Men’s grades, and a grand final birth for the Women’s 2nd grade side, who will hope to cap off a remarkable year with some silverware.
Last week saw the tahs go 3 from 5 in the men’s grades, which unfortunately meant the club championship slipped away from our grasp. Congratulations to Northern District who took it out. Women’s 3’s had an unfortunate loss in their grand final against Gordon, while Brewers hopes of a Grand Final appearance were destroyed by rain, as their match ended in a draw, after Sydney were 3/52. Women’s 2’s advanced to the GF with a rain affected draw meaning they went through ahead of the ghosts.
This week, 1st grade are boosted by the return of Ollie Davies from NSW duties, however there are two big losses with Jack Edwards and Ben Bryant both unavailable due to injury. Andrew Hicks also comes into the side following his outstanding form of late. 2nd grade welcome back Jordan Daly and Michael Counsell, while 3rd grade bring in Mickey Edwards and Andrew Rochford to account for the player losses to higher grades. Women’s 2’s make one addition to their side, with Kate Salmon selected in the 12.
