The Mounties Manly Warringah Waratahs are pleased to announce the Women’s Premier Cricket Captains for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
Saskia Horley has been confirmed as our new 1st Grade Captain for the coming season. A NSW representative, Saskia will bring a huge amount of cricket knowledge and leadership skill to the role.
Renee Hough will be stepping up from 3rd Grade captaincy and taking the reigns of Womens 2nd Grade in 2023/24.
Renee did a fantastic job with 3rd Grade last year, taking them to a Grand Final. She will be keen to make a statement in her first season as 2nd Grade captain.
With Renee moving to 2nd Grade, all rounder Sallie Molyneux will be leading the 3rd Grade side in 2023/24.
Sallie had a fantastic 2022/23 season both on and off the field and will be keen to demonstrate her leadership and cricketing skills this season.
Finally, Sophie Lowry will be leading our Brewer Shield side this season. Sophie will be working closely with Brewers coach Bill McLerie to lead what is a hugely talented group of youngsters we have coming through our club
