Campbell and Horley selected in Australian U/19 Squad for South Africa Tour

The TravelSIM Manly Warringah Waratahs would like to congratulate both Saskia Horley and Stella Campbell on their selection in the Aus U19 side for the upcoming tour of South Africa.

Not only does the tour end a 15 year gap between the selection of a female U19 side, it is also the first time Australia have sent an under-19 women’s team overseas, with the 14-player squad to meet South Africa and England in a tri-series. It’s a move that further brings in line the Female pathway with the Male Pathway.

Saskia will also have the added privilege of captaining the side during the T20 campaign

Both Stella and Saskia currently play their grade cricket for other clubs, however are Manly Warringah juniors.

With the recent formation of our women’s cricket program through the introduction of a Brewer Shield side for the first time, and female grade sides on the horizon in the coming years, we hope their success inspires future Stella’s and Saskia’s to follow the Manly Cricket pathway to higher honours.

Hopefully we will see both girls#bleedblue in the Manly colours in the not too distant future.

Congratulations again to both girls.
