The Styleness Manly Warringah Waratahs have named sides for Men’s grades 1-5, PG’s, Women’s 2’s, 3’s, and Brewers. This round marks the first 2 day match for the season for the lower grades. The men’s club faces Western Suburbs this round, while PG’s also have a home semi against St George, which is sure to be a cracker.
Last round was a successful one for the tahs, as only 2 grades lost among the men’s and women’s sides. 1st grade enjoyed a convincing win thanks to another ton from skipper Jay Lenton. 2’s, 3’s and 5’s also enjoyed convincing wins, along with W2’s and W3’s.
First grade through to Third grade all retain the same sides from last reason, with every reason to after they all had convincing wins last round.
4’s are almost a completely different side this round, with 7 changes made to the side. Due to skipper Gumms being unavailable, Billy Lindsay steps in to captain the side. Ollie Melville and James Waddington come into the side from 5’s, while past players Justin Cox, Rowan Hamman, Adam Parkinson, and Matt White all return to lend a hand. 5th grade also have several changes, with Evan Dunnachie, Roop Dhillon, Charlie Johnston, and Jack Melchiore all back in 5’s.
PG’s welcome back captain Joel Foster for their all important semi final clash this sunday against St George.
Women’s 2nd grade will look to continue their strong winning form, with the inclusion of Renee Hough and the retuen of Natalie Jonkers. Brewers hope to bounce back after a tough loss, welcoming back Mia Nel and Sallie Molyneux. Women’s 3rd grade have made several changes, with Mason White, Isabelle Keene, and Sofia Davidson all returning to the team.
