The Happy Days Charity is an official community partner of MWDCC as part of it’s Manly for Manly community program.
The Happy Days charity is a charity organisation setup by MWDCC Life Member Mike Pawley, Mike has travelled extensively throughout Asia, but was especially moved by the plight of the underprivileged in Cambodia when visiting there in 2011, on top of the rich culture and history of the Khmer people.
Upon return to the country with his family, Mike visited a school just outside Siem Reap to better understand the scale of the issue. He provided the children with school clothing, stationary and some sports equipment but realised much more could be done. The “Happy Days-Cambodian Village School Inc.” charity came into existence which aims to improve the education quality, living standards and general health and well being of Cambodian children.
The Happy Days charity and the Manly Warringah Waratahs collaborate on many events throughout the year, and we are only too happy to provide them with any assistance they need.
If you can’t make the various events to support this worthy cause, please support Mike and his worthy cause by donating at the website http://www.happydayscambodianvillageschoolinc.org.au/home

As Mike would say, happy days.
