Welcome to another season of Premier Cricket with the Manly Warringah Waratahs. This weekend see’s the Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup and the Poidevin-Gray Shield. 1st grade kicks off their T20 campaign against Spit Bridge rivals Mosman out at Bankstown, while PG’s host Norths in a T20 at Manly on Sunday afternoon.
The new season bring a new look 1st grade side with Skipper Joel Foster naming multiple debutants and newcomers. Akshay Joseph and Lewis Evans join the club from the ACT, while Charlie Stobo plays his first match for the Tahs after returning to NSW this season. We also see the potential T20 debuts for 3 manly juniors in Roop Dhillon, Myles Kapoor and Jules Osbourne.
PG’s will begin their hunt for back to back premierships, as new skipper Andrew Boulton has named a very experienced and similar side to that of last season. Good Luck to the boys as they look to continue their success.
