Last week’s Cachet Group Golf Day proved a huge hit with all punters. Thank you to everyone who attended.
It’s becoming a regular feature on the local cricket calendar.
One of the great initiatives brought to this year’s event was the $25,000 on offer for any participating player that hit a hole-in-one. This was driven by our friends at Corpsure.
It’s a concept that has been part of a few large scale corporate few golf days, but it’s a rare opportunity provided at local sporting club golf days.
We would like to thank Corpsure or their driving of this initiative. It brought a great amount of excitement to the day and all the players really enjoyed it.
We had a few players come close, but none closer that Ken Turner. Ken hit over 5,000 runs or the club and is part of the famous Turner clan. Ken loves his golf and is a member at Long Reef Golf Club, so knows the course well. Alas, it wasn’t quite close enough.
