The TravelSim Waratahs take on local rivals North Sydney in a crunch 2-day match this round. After washouts in the lower grades and only a 2nd grade victory across the matches which were played on the weekend, this round looms as a must-win for multiple grades if they wish to feature come finals time this season.
1st grade must bounce back from a disappointing loss to Blacktown at Manly Oval. The return of last seasons wicket-taking machine Nick McLachlan is a welcome boost while Michael Visser will play only day 2 due to work commitments with the Sydney Sixers on day 1. 2’s will look to keep building momentum after last weeks win and will welcome Ben Falconer into thr side for day 1 with Taylor Beatty coming down from 1’s for day 2.
3rd grade welcome back Jimmy Crombie from injury while Dan McKenna will play day 1. 4’s will be captained by James Boyer in the absence of Max Burgess who is tearing up the slopes in Canada. Jacob Graham and Matt Morris also slot into this side which has been one of the most consistent in the club this season. Finally 5’s see 2 debutants from our Green Shield side in fast-bowlers Gabriel Harris and Hayden Brown. We wish the boys the best of luck in there debuts and hope its the first of many appearances for the Tahs.
