The TravelSim Waratahs will look to continue the success of last round with a crucial trip out to Campbelltown this weekend. 1st grade know they need a win to get there season back on track in there defence of the Belvidere Cup, while all other grades will look to continue the momentum they gathered from the previous round against Fairfield-Liverpool.
2 changes in 1st grade is the promotion of Jarrod Rawlings for the unavailable Aidan Baker, and Sam Webber for the ill Cameron Merchant. Jarrod is coming off a match winning century last round and will be looking to continue his fantastic form at the top of the order for Adam Crosthwaite’s side, while Sam Webber is also in great form after last weeks unbeaten half century. 2nd grade are boosted by the return of there captain Rowan Hamman and experienced all-rounder Taylor Beatty. Jake Carden also gets the call-up after a few impressive rounds in 3’s.
Matt Cole returns to boost 3rd grade while the club welcomes back Luke Diserens after his brief, 3 round retirement from the game. Welcome back Dizzy! James Boyer will captain 4th grade in the absence of Max Burgess this week while Will Outred and Luke Edgell return to strengthen a serious 4th grade team. Finally 5’s welcome back Ben Kittlety and Isiah Vumbaca along with debutant William Wolter for there top of the table clash out at Raby 3.
The season is nearly one month old and it’s time for the Waratahs to establish themselves as one of the front runners in this years competition once again. Good luck to all the teams across the weekend in there search for 6 points!
