End of Season New Zealand Tour Announced – 3rd to 12th April 2017

Cobham Oval, home of City Cricket Club

The TravelSIM Manly Warringah Waratahs are pleased to announce our first overseas tour since the 2000 tour to Sri Lanka with an end of season journey across the ditch to New Zealand.

The moving of club legend Craig “Jeannie” Little over to the land-of-the-long-white-cloud has been instrumental in getting the tour happening. Jeanie has been right in the thick of the organisation, along with Adam Gummer and David Gainsford.

While all the details are still to be confirmed, we will be leaving on Monday 3rd April and returning home on Wednesday the 12th April. In between we are looking at getting plenty of sightseeing in, nocturnal and otherwise, as well as plenty of good cricket. T20 and one-day matches are in the pipeline to be played against clubs such as City Cricket Club, which is Jeannie’s home club and whose clubhouse is pictured above, and Northland Cricket Association.

Players who are interested need to contact David Gainsford on davidgainsford@yahoo.com.au and 0418 966833. A $200 deposit will be needed to secure your spot for the tour, and you must be over 18 years of age.
