Grades head out West for upcoming fixtures – Men’s and Women’s Teams 19-20 February 2021/22

The Raydel Manly Warringah Waratahs have named men’s and women’s sides for this weekends upcoming premier cricket fixtures. The Men’s grades head out to the riff this weekend to take on Penrith, while women’s 1’s and 2’s take on Parramatta. Brewers tackle ND’s, while 3rd grade face Sydney. The women’s sides will look to get back on track, as all sides are competitive for finals coming up.

The Men’s sides were unfortunate to have two washouts last week, but still managed to come home with 2 wins. Carden and West both bagged 5fa’s in 1st Grade, while Ahillen Beadle scored an epic ton. 3’s also got up, thanks largely to Alex Bain dismantling the Gordon side to take home 5. The women’s sides unfortunately suffered 3 defeats, with Brewers the only side to take home 6 points.

1st Grade welcome Jacob O’Sullivan, Mickey Edwards and Sam Gainsford back into the side, while Roop Dhillon will make his debut in 2nd grade, with Cameron Merchant also joining the 2’s side. 3rd grade make one change with Jack Hobson covering the departure of Dhillon, while 4’s enjoy the return of Liam Dinan from injury, along with Seb Bush. 5th grade name an unchanged side as they look to push higher into the top 6.

Women’s 1st Grade have named yet another debutant this week, with Stacey McManus making her debut in the top grade. Natalie Jonkers also rejoins the side as they push for a finals campaign. 2’s make two changes with Emily Hatfield and Mia Waddington both included in the team. Brewers welcome back bowlers Charlotte Ambler and Maya Nicey, while 3rd Grade make three changes, with Ellen Hall, Brooke Frew and Liv Hough being added to the team list.
