The Green Shield Draw and Training Schedule for the upcoming 2019/20 season has been released by Director of Cricket David Gainsford, and Pathway Manager Steve Hobson.
There will be 7 rounds in the competition commencing on Thursday 19th December running to the 16th January.
This will hopefully be followed by quarterfinals (19th January), semi-finals (21st January) and a grand final (23rd January).
In preparation for the upcoming season, the coaches have announced 3 trial games will be played during the October school holidays. These will occur as follows;
- Tuesday 8th October Vs Shore School (location : Northbridge )
- Wednesday 9th October Vs Kings School ( location : Parramatta )
- Thursday 10th October Vs Riverview College ( location : Riverview)
Following the trial games, the full sqaud will begin training together from Wednesday the 30th October, before the final squad of 15 is selected for the tournament.
Manly’s campaign will being against Blacktown at Manly Oval on Thursday 19th December 2019, and will alsos play teams such as North Sydney, Sydney and fill finish the season against Hawksebury on the 16 January 2020.
