The Manly Warringah Waratahs are pleased to confirm that the Harbord Diggers have signed on as a top line sponsor for the club once again in 2018/19.
In a remarkable show of loyalty, it is their 24th season of supporting the Waratahs, one of the longest associations, if not the longest, in sport on the Northern Beaches.
The revamped Harbord Diggers is now open and since its launch has experienced an overwhelming response from locals who are loving the variety of entertainment and dining options all under one roof.
From its stunning main bar that echoes the curves of the Northern Beaches coastline, to its sun-baked alfresco dining space, indoor child’s play area and four new delicious dining offerings, the new digs is a must visit.
Set on top its iconic headland location, Harbord Diggers has long been a haven for families and the new venue offers a range of unique spaces and features to keep the young (and the young at heart) entertained all day long.
The new venue’s expansive Ocean Terrace is a versatile playground for adults and children alike and the perfect spot for eating, catching up with friends, listening to live music, enjoying sunset skies and even watching whales swim by. Bathed in sunshine by day and starlit by night, the Ocean Terrace is surrounded by local flora and boasts distant views of Curl Curl Beach and the magical Northern Beaches coastline.
Featuring a large grassed area and casual seating this is also the perfect space for the little ones to roam and play and sets the scene for special family events and activities. Harbord Diggers is hosting a number of regular family friendly activities including book reading Thursdays, games on the lawn, face painting, kids animal farm and more.
The new venue is also home to four new dining options, each with dedicated kid’s menus, including restaurants, WaterDragon, Teddy Larkin’s and AcquaFresca by Pilu, as well as a casual café, DD Collective. From Asian dumplings to authentic Italian pizza and pasta, steak and seafood, parmigianas and salads, the new Harbord Diggers presents a range of cuisine options to tantalise even the fussiest of eaters.
