Harbord Diggers / Mounties support Waratahs for 20th season

We are pleased to report that Habord Diggers / Mounties are again supporting the Waratahs for 2014-15. It is a fantastic relationship that goes back to 1995/96, and therefore hitting our 20th year. We hope that we combine for another 20 more.

The Diggers have been great supporters through thick and thin during that time. In fact it is thought to be the longest running partnership in Northern Beaches sport.

Club President Andrew Fraser said that the relationship continues to go from strength to strength.

“The Harbord Diggers came on board as one of our major sponsors 20 years ago, when we really needed the support,” said Fraser. “When the Mounties, acquired the Diggers, our relationship grew even stronger and they continue to be a very loyal supporter of our great Club.”

“Our Club is in a great place and to have a sponsor for 20 years, in any sporting environment, depicts the high level of respect we have for each other.”

The Waratahs would like to thank Dale Hunt, Greg Pickering, Greg Silk and all the people at Mounties, Harbord Diggers and Manly Bowling Club. Not only is their support amazing, but Manly Bowling Club is also a great place to celebrate our wins and commiserate our losses.

For those that didn’t know, the Harbord Diggers at Freshwater is also getting a brand new makeover after council approval. Although works will begin towards the end of this year, the Diggers are still planning on having a fantastic temporary club available for all members and guests, offering the best services and facilities during the transition period.

Of course you can visit the normal Harbord Diggers website by going to http://www.harborddiggers.com.au/. Here you can book your next function, visit their award winning restaurant, or just be part of one of the many amazing events held there.

Once again, we thank the Harbord Diggers / Mounties for their support.
