Buck returns to help Tahs to the top

Welcome back Buck

The TravelSIM Manly Warringah Waratahs are very happy to welcome back Nathan Buck to the club for the rest of the 2015/16 season.

Bucky spent the season with the Waratahs in 2013/14 and immediately became a much loved club member. He took 28 wickets at 24.32 that season with a best of 4 for 29.

Since then, Bucky has made the big move from Leicestershire to Lancashire at the end of the English 2014 season, however had limited opportunities in 2015 due to injuries.

However, he is fully fit and bowling full pace, which is going to be fantastic for the Waratahs depth, especially with the amount of cricket currently being played. Bucky can be quite frightening when in full flight, as a few batsmen found out in 2013/14.

“It’s fantastic to be back” said Bucky. “It feels like I have never really left”.

“I had an amazing time here 2 seasons back and made some really close, lifelong friends.”

“Obviously last season was one of the best in the clubs history and I’m really pumped to keep both the club and the 1st grade side in the winner’s circle.”

“Also going to be great spending a summer in Manly once again”

Bucky has taken a room in the house of former first grade skipper and current batting coach Tim Cruickshank. Should be an interesting combination.

His first class career has seen him take 156 wickets at 37.67 with four 5 wicket hauls and a best of 5 for 76.

Welcome back Bucky, it’s great to have you home.
