Following these three sessions a final 15-player Green Shield team will be selected. This will be undertaken by the Green Shield selectors on the basis of current season performance in the Sydney grade competition, Shires competition and the junior representative competition along with performance at training sessions and assessment of team balance.
- Sunday 20th November – The 15 player AW Green Shield team to be announced and posted here on the MWDCC web site
- Thursday 8th December – Capping Night and BBQ at Manly Oval for the 15-player team.
- Sunday 11th December – Trial game vs. Sydney DCC (TBC).
- Monday 12th December – Trial game vs. Penrith DCC at Manly Oval.
- Thursday 15th December – Green Shield Round 1 versus Gordon at Killara Oval
Mike is a Life Member of MWDCC and CNSW, a 1st grade premiership winning captain at Manly. We are fortunate to have Mike back involved coaching again and sharing his expertise with the squad. Tom is a former Pathway player and current Manly 2nd grader. Having been through the junior rep system, Manly/Warringah pathway, and a former Green Shield/Poidevin-Gray player it will be great to have him involved and working closely with Mike.
We are also very lucky to have David Gardiner as assistant coach along with Ross Denny helping with selections and communications.. Roy Vumbaca will also be on the selection committee.
