Manly Oval hosted the Manly Warringah School Cups Finals on Tuesday where the teams were playing for the Manly Cup for both Junior u15s and Senior Schools Competition.
St Paul’s College dominated the day winning both Trophy’s which is a first.
The Manly Warringah District Cricket Club has been the sponsor of this competition for the last 3 years which is also part of our Manly for Manly programme.
It was a great day had by all with the 1st game ( Juniors ) between St Paul’s Vs Balgowlah boys going to the last over with St Paul’s winning by 9 runs.
2nd game was ( Seniors ) between St Paul’s Vs St Augustines with St Paul’s winning convincingly by 40 runs. There were many Manly junior rep players on show which again showed how much talent
we have in our area.
Captain of the Juniors winning team was Joel Wood ( Green shield this year ) and Seniors Sam Gainsford ( MWDCA ).
Thanks to both Umpires – Brian Ferguson & Graham White. Thanks to Wrighty, Loza and Dollars for helping with the day.
