In major news, Cameron Merchant has returned to the 1st grade side after 2 weeks in 2nd grade. Scoring a first ball duck in his first game, “Nappa” showed his class by scoring a fantastic unbeaten hundred in the last round against Sutherland. Nappa is a massive part of our club, both on and off the field, and it’s great to see him back and enjoying his cricket
After consecutive clean sweeps v Norths & Sutherland the club is rattling along. Attitudes and intensity at training was again first class during the week so another great weekend beckons. We know that there is no place for any complacency or wrong attitudes so let’s make sure we are all ready to go on the weekend.
