Mitchell Starc joins Manly Warringah Waratahs

The Styleness Manly Warringah Waratahs are please to announce that Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc will be joining the club.

One of the best bowlers in the world today, Starc will be donning the Manly blue whenever he gets the chance going forward.

Starc and wife Alyssa Healy have been Northern Beaches residents for the last few years.

Despite Starc’s busy international schedule, club President, and longtime friend and manager to Starc, Andrew Fraser, is thrilled that Starc has chosen to play for the Tahs.

“With such a busy international schedule, we’re not sure when we will next see Mitch playing premier cricket, but it is just terrific to have him as part of our club. I’m sure it will be a packed house down at Manly Oval when he eventually debuts for us, ” said Manly’s President, Andrew Fraser.

With close to 500 international wickets across all three formats, as well as being a dominant and attacking left handed batsmen, Starc will bolster an already strong first grade side when he gets the chance.

Starc has not played grade cricket for 6 or 7 years. But with the international cricket schedule a day-to-day proposition, we are optimistic in getting a game or 2 from Mitch at the back end of the season.

The Styleness Manly Warringah Waratahs welcome Mitchell to the club, and along with the rest of the Northern Beaches cricket community, look forward to seeing him make his debut for the club.
