The Waratahs are pleased to announce that Spartan Sports will once again be sponsoring the Players Player award for the upcoming presentation night this Saturday 9th May. A huge thankyou to the owner, Kunal Sharma, and all the teram at Spartan.
Spartan Cricket have blasted their way into the Australian Cricket marketplace over the last few years, not least as a result of Michael Clarke showing that Spartan is his bat of choice, resulting in every man and his dog wanting a Spartan bat.
And who could blame them. They are top quality willows from top quality bat makers.
The relationship has come about through Manly First Grader and Spartan Representative Cameron Merchant who is part of the Spartan stable.
“I know Spartan is very excited to get involved with a club like Manly that spans across both the professional side of the game as well as the grass roots of the game.” Said Merchant.
“Being involved and helping junior cricket is a priority of Spartan, so this is a great way to start. Obviously Manly being my club and a place that I know and love, this relationship is extra special for me. Who knows where it could lead.
“The main question for me though is…. who will win the award”.
The winner will receive a full kit, including pads, gloves and top of the range bat, so someone is going to be a very happy camper.
