The Beach2Beach Charity Fun Run (formerly the Pub to Pub) is back in 2022 with the Raydel Manly Warringah Waratahs Women’s and Men’s playing group once again entering a team.
This years event will be held on Sunday 28th August, with the run again starting at Dee Why Beach and finishing at Newport Beach.
It’s been 3 years since the last event was held in 2019, with COVID causing it to be cancelled the last few years. In the 2019 instance we were able to raise $10,000 for our Charity partner Burdekin.
We were actually the highest fundraising team in the entire 2019 event. As a result, our fundraising aims are high again for 2022.
Our Community team have liaised with our Women’s and Men’s coaches, and the run is part of our official pre-season program. Our Playing Group is ready and raring to go.
All players will be participating, but we encourage all members of the Manly Warringah cricket community to join us in the event under our banner. It doesn’t matter if you want to sprint, run, jog or walk. Burdekin are a fantastic local charity and one our of official club partners. We all know how big a problem homelessness is, we see it as a club on a weekly basis. Burdekin do amazing things in this space and we’re very proud to be working with them and helping however we can.
