Waratahs raise $3,000 for National Breast Cancer Foundation

The Raydel Manly Warringah Waratahs are pleased to have raised $3,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation at our Women’s Triple Header a few weeks ago.

The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia’s leading national body funding game-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public. Their mission is to stop deaths from breast cancer by identifying, funding and championing world-class research that will help us detect tumors earlier, improve treatment outcomes, and ultimately save lives.

Money was raised through the tireless efforts of the Womens playing group, who when not playing, were walking around with collection buckets, face painting, cooking the BBQ or operating the home bake stall.

Special thanks goes out the Manly Car and Truck Rentals who were our Major Sponsor on the day, and Seadrift Distillery who were a fantastic matchday partner

Thank you so much to everyone that contributed on the day in helping to raise money for a worth cause, and for making it a fanstastic day.
