Westfield Warringah Mall joins up as Manly for Manly community partner

We are pleased to announce that Westfield Warringah Mall have come on board as the official partner of our Manly for Manly community program for 2014/15. Both organisations are committed to making a difference to the local community so it’s a natural fit for both.
There is no doubt that Westfield Warringah Mall is an iconic brand on the Northern Beaches. They are one of the few places that everyone knows and where everyone goes. They have a new strategy for the Northern beaches where they are getting involved with local, community organisations. To have such an iconic brand as Westfield Warringah Mall associated with our community program is a huge thrill for our club.

Our community Manager Corrie Boss is was excited about the opportunity to work with Westfield Warringah Mall

“Growing up on the Central Coast, I always heard about this huge shopping mall on the Northern Beaches, and since moving to the area I have realised it is very central to the lives of many people in the area. They are a large and professional organisation who have some great ideas of how we can improve the Manly for Manly community program. I’m really looking forward to both organisations working closely.

Look out for Westfield Warringah Mall to get involved with various local sporting organisations over the coming few years as they look to support those that support them. It’s a strategy that makes sense, and we are lucky to be part of it.

We are the top cricket club on the Northern Beaches and the pinnacle organisation for all juniors coming through our pathway program on the Northern Beaches. This provides us with some great benefits but also presents great responsibility on the club.

Our Westfield Warringah Mall Manly for Manly community program aims to fulfil this responsibility. The program is about giving back to the local cricket community as well as the Northern Beaches community as a whole. This is fulfilled through our players visiting junior clubs to help with coaching, taking part in various events such as Movember and Red Cross Blood donations, as we as supporting various charity’s such as Stewart House and Happy Days Cambodian Village School Inc.
